Dary Two Center for Primary Healthcare began operating in Amiriyat Al-Faluja Camps, receiving patient getting out of Faluja to avoid the military clashes resulting from the liberation military operations in Faluja. The Center, funded by WHO, was completed in 10 days and is capable of receiving 500 patients per day in two shifts, daytime and evening, six days a week.
Dary Two consists of 2 consultative units, 2 gynecology units, 1 emergency room, a fully-equipped laboratory, 1 dental unit, 1 free-of-charge pharmacy, 1 vaccination unit. The Center contains 12 rooms used for medical and administrative work. The Center also has 2 ambulances to carry emergency cases to it swiftly. Dary Human also provided a green space in this new center to create positive environment for children receiving psychological treatment.
In cooperation with Al-Anbar Health Directorate and relying on the funds given by the WHO, Dary further manned the Center with a team of doctors, pharmacists and medical assistants to ensure the continuity of its services. All aspects of the project – devices, equipment, and medications – were almost completely funded by the WHO with mentionable contributions from philanthropist managers of drug companies and stores.
