On its first day, Dary Circular Clinic provided treatment for more than 400 refugees in Amiriyat Al-Faluja Camps. The clinic inauguration witnessed the presence of the Regional Director of the World Health Organization in the Middle East, Mr. Ala’ Al-Deen Al-Alwan, who also paid a visit to Dary Primary Healthcare Center to have a look on the medical services provided to more than 200 patients daily.
Dary Human, which has been exerting extraordinary efforts in Amiriyat Al-Faluja since it signed a partnership agreement with the World Health Organization, explained to the Regional Director the work mechanisms of its first center in the area. Since it was opened 10 days ago, the Center has received more than 2,500 patients. The works of the circular clinics run by Dary in cooperation with the WHO was also explained to him. Dary Management underlined the humanitarian collaboration shown by drugs companies and stores, which supplied a large amount of the refugees needs.
Dary Human has been providing relief to thousands of refugees since early 2014 in several Iraqi provinces. The efforts of its volunteers, general and medical staff, and the donations made by drug companies and stores, should be credited for saving many lives. The Organization hopes for the continuation of the support given by such entities even after it has entered a partnership agreement with the WHO, because the agreement is exclusively related to refuges, and thus won’t be enough to meet the needs of all classes of people benefiting from Dary’s work.
