Dary Human provided medical treatment and care for 10,000 patients in Amiryat Al-Faluja camps in one month in the wake of opening its second health center. In a related issue, Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Iraq, Patrick Simmonet, promised more support for Dary health centers.
During the European Ambassador’s visit to Dary Second Health Center, funded by the WHO and the EU, a detailed account of the services provided for refugees fleeing Faluja was given, especially with respect to the treatment of 10,000 patients in one month and the psychological treatment provided to children. The Ambassador also confirmed that the Union main goal was to help refugee families in this difficult circumstances to enable them get through the current crisis. Mr. Simmonet promised further aid.
According to Dary Human records, 18,000 (eighteen thousand patients) have received medical treatment in Dary’s first and second health centers, in Bzaibiz and Amriyat Al-Faluja respectively, since they were first established after the recent exodus of Faluja residents. Dary Human will establish two other centers in Al-Anbar Province; work will be underway starting next week. These centers will provide advanced medical services and cutting edge devices, and will provide vaccinations for children and pregnant women.
